Here is a quick summary of the major updates released in Q1 of 2023!
Support for Slack
SpinOne now supports Slack, helping protect an organization’s Slack channels and messages to meet data protection and compliance requirements, ensure business continuity, and decrease recovery costs. You can easily set up automated backup of your Slack data on AWS, GCP, Azure or BYOS.
Create your Slack account here, and link it to your other SpinOne accounts.
Jira & ServiceNow Integrations
SpinOne now integrates with Jira and ServiceNow to create alerts and incidents automatically, streamlining security operations processes for enterprise teams by eliminating the need for manual alert creation.
PII Detection Improvements
To help organizations secure Sensitive Data, SpinOne has improved its PII detection to now detect 15 out of the box types of Sensitive Data, including but not limited to Credit Card numbers, Driver License Numbers, Medical License Numbers and more. Customers are also able to specify a confidence threshold which takes into account further context to reduce false positives.
Support for Google Groups
To help customers create more granular policies, SpinOne now detects Google Groups according to their setup in Google Workspace. This improvement allows Groups to be selected as part of the Scope & Exceptions section during policy creation.
New Section: Reports
Head to the Reports section from the left panel of your SpinOne account in order to configure report frequencies, thresholds and recipient channels. Now, you can manage all your SpinOne reports from one area!
