To cap off the year, we wanted to share with you changes made in Q4 for the SpinOne platform.

SpinSPM (SaaS Security Posture Management)

Risk Assessment Overview for Slack

The number of applications organizations manage constantly increases, making it more difficult to get an understanding of insights and trends in order to be able to take action.

SpinOne's Risk Assessment Overview has now been extended for Slack, and is designed to give you a breakdown of ALL applications and extensions and provide insightful recommendations on applications that may impose risk. Learn more here.

External Communications for Extensions

Browser extensions may communicate with external providers. This can impose potential risk if data from the browser is sent to malicious locations. We have now started to provide visibility into these external communication providers right in our app risk assessment section.

SpinDLP (Data Leak Prevention)

Support for Regular Expressions

SpinOne offers out of the box types of sensitive data to detect, but this may not be enough for customers. Each organization has their own definition on what is sensitive. Now, customers on the SpinDLP and SpinOne subscriptions can specify regular expressions that our DLP capabilities should search for, along with the ability to specify context words that can help reduce false positives. Learn more here.

Data Audit Heatmap

Our Data Audit Overview allows organizations to get an understanding of ALL data stored in their SaaS application, and their exposure and sensitivity, giving them insights on what to take action on.

The Data Heatmap now added on the right hand corner will allow organizations to configure a risk matrix defining Risk and Exposure. Learn more here.
