SpinOne provides out of the box 15 sensitive data types to help you identify sensitive data stored or sent in your organization.
On top of the out of the box sensitive data types, you can also define your own sensitive data dictionary by utilizing our Data Policy.
Available on SpinDLP and SpinOne subscriptions for Google Workspace and Microsoft 365.
STEP 1: Navigate to Policy Management and create a Data Policy.
STEP 2: Set the condition for Sensitive Data Types Equals Regular Expression
STEP 3: Enter your values using RE2 syntax and context words. Context words are used to reduce false positives.
Note: You can add as many values as required within the same policy.
STEP 4: Set another condition for Sensitive Data Threshold between 0 - 100. If regular expression values and context words are detected, the file contains the specified threshold. Each detected context word increases the threshold by 35%
By following the above steps, you have specified your sensitive data. Next, select actions that should be performed when sensitive data is detected. For example, data can be masked and alerts can be sent to a notification channel.
Create the policy and begin receiving alerts when your specified sensitive data is detected.
