In Q1 of 2025, we significantly improved our SpinBackup and SpinSPM offerings.
SpinSPM
Through our new “No AI” policy, you can automatically detect and block browser extensions that use AI to process your data. Our No AI Policy helps enforce strict data protection by preventing unauthorized AI-driven tools from accessing sensitive information.
Head to our Policies Templates section from the platform to be able to quickly add this policy to your organization today.
SpinBackup
This quarter, Spin.AI released new functionality for SpinBackup to further aid our customers in compliance, data retention and ease of use around our backup solution.
SpinBackup – Archive User Retention
Archive Users with Spin.AI are streamlining offboarding processes and simplifying compliance and workload for our Customers. Now, our Customers are able to apply a retention policy to Archive Users.
Select Edit Preservation to be able to adjust for how long you would like your Archived User to remain backed up by SpinBackup.
You can set a global preservation time, but also be able to configure it individually per user.
SpinBackup – Full Restore
With SpinBackup, our Customers can now perform a full restore of a selected User and restore that data to the same User or any other Licensed User.
Firstly, navigate to Users on the left hand toolbar…
Secondly, select a User for whom you would like to restore their data and select Restore…
Lastly, Selective the Services that you would like to restore and the location of the restore. This location can be the original User or perform a knowledge transfer by selecting any other User in the drop down menu…
