SpinSPM
Release of SpinProtect Extension
Introducing SpinProtect, SpinOne’s security browser extension. SpinProtect does everything you’ve come to love from SpinMonitor but now with added features for detecting and blocking unsanctioned domains.
With SpinProtect, not only can you have a streamlined ticketing experience for allowlisting/blocklisting extensions and applications, but now you prevent users from accessing websites associated with specific domains.
Application Policy Condition – Suspicious/Malicious Apps
Automation is the name of the game for Spin.AI. With the rising threats of malicious extensions proliferating in browsers, the SSPM Product Team at Spin.AI has released specific Security Policies for identifying Dangerous or Suspicious extensions.
New Risk Assessment Score Scale Update
The Spin.AI SSPM Product Team has updated the risk assessment score.
The scale is now 1-100, the lower the risk score, the safer it is while the higher the risk score, the more risky it is.
The exact scale is as follows:
- 1 – 34 = Low Risk
- 35 – 64 = Medium Risk
- 64 – 100 = High Risk

eDiscovery for M365
In Q4 2025, SpinBackup received a major update as Spin.AI announced the release of eDiscovery. With eDiscovery, our customers can now leverage tool consolidation and cost saving advantages for granular identification and searching capabilities of all of their SaaS backed up data. SpinOne’s eDiscovery solution spans from Active Users to Archived Users, all while requiring zero User status changes.
With eDiscovery, our customers can create granular Searches based on a specific User or Security Group and limit the search by Service, such as Exchange Online and OneDrive.
Once data has been discovered, custom Legal Holds can be created to retain for a specified amount of time or for the life of the eDiscovery Case.
With SpinOne’s eDiscovery solution, creating Cases, Searches and Legal Holds are easier than ever while leveraging cross-restoration and exportation functionality.
