Spin Technology offers automated 24/7 Ransomware Protection for customers who are subscribed to either our SpinOne or SpinSecurity solution. The goal of our Ransomware Protection tool is to protect your data and reduce downtime to a maximum of two hours. When an attack is detected, it is stopped and the solution will restore an unencrypted version of the data from the most recent backup immediately. On the Ransomware Protection page, you are provided with further information regarding the attack, which include: The Microsoft 365 service that was attacked, the user that was infected, date of the event, number of files that were encrypted, recovered, and unrecovered. Note: Detection and recovery of data that were attacked happens automatically without the need of manually recovering encrypted data. The "Settings" button will direct you to the "Security Policies" page, where you will locate the default security policy for Ransomware Protection. Once you click on the policy, it will provide a breakdown of actions that are taken when the policy is activated such as: Restored encrypted files automatically, revoke an access, and send notification. You have the ability to view all the files that were infected by clicking on a specific event. A new tab will appear showing all the files that were encrypted in the attack.
