How to Integrate SpinOne with Claude
SpinOne connects to the Claude Compliance API to find sensitive data, such as PII and financial information, in Claude Enterprise chats and files.
SpinOne only reads data (Chats and Files) from Claude. It never changes or deletes anything in your Claude organization.
What you need
- A Claude Enterprise plan.
- The Primary Owner of your Claude organization. Only the Primary Owner can turn on the Compliance API and create the key.
Step 1: Turn on the Compliance API in Claude
- In Claude, open the menu at the bottom left and select Organization settings.
- Go to API.
- Turn on Compliance API.
Step 2: Create a Compliance API key
- On the same API page, under Keys, click + Create key.
- Name the key, for example SpinOne.
- Under Scopes, select:
read:compliance_org_dataread:compliance_user_data
- Under Key access, select Only this organization.
- Click Create.
- Copy the key and store it somewhere safe. Claude shows it only once.
Step 3: Copy your Claude Organization ID
In Claude, go to Settings › Account and copy your Organization ID.
Step 4: Add the integration in SpinOne
- In SpinOne, go to Settings › Integrations.
- On the Claude Enterprise card, click View connections, then Add connection.
- Fill in the form:
- Title: a name you’ll recognize, for example Claude Enterprise.
- Organization ID: from Step 3.
- Compliance API key: from Step 2.
- Click Test. You should see: “Claude accepted the key and the organization ID.”
- Choose an API usage limit.
- Click Create.
SpinOne shows “Integration created. Scan started.” The connection’s status becomes Active.
After the first scan, SpinOne checks for new and updated chats and files automatically.
