You’ve likely been thinking about Data Loss Prevention wrong for the past decade.

Most security teams still treat DLP as a giant rulebook that has to be written, maintained, and updated by hand. You define what sensitive data looks like. You write policies for every possible scenario. You tune thresholds to reduce false positives. You repeat this process every time your business changes.

Here’s the uncomfortable truth: you can’t run effective AI-native DLP as a standalone tool.

This matches what we’ve observed. The average enterprise now manages over 275 SaaS applications. Adding another point solution for DLP just increases complexity. Teams want consolidation, not expansion.

Building Toward Resilience

The goal isn’t perfect prevention. It’s rapid recovery.

The shift from rule-based policies to autonomous guardrails is already happening. Organizations that make this transition now will have years of behavioral data and model training before their competitors catch up. Those that wait will find themselves trying to write regex patterns while everyone else has moved to systems that learn and adapt automatically.
